The guardian’s room

I was just going to edit without warning but, in the end, I decided to write an article.

It was a commonly accepted theory that you only needed to do a replay, history or free, to permanently change your room, by paying 200 maana to the cat.

I don’t think so. 

On the American version I started with Valkyon’s room, did a first free replay, picked Ez’, a second, picked Nevra’s; on the fourth, a replay history, the cat *confirmed* that I had Valkyon room, like the 2 free replay never happened.

To make sure, I did some testing on the Finnish account. First play-through: Nevra’s room.

Second (free replay): Valkyon room.

Third replay (history): I didn’t change the room when the cat asked and I didn’t get the dialogue to check the room Valkyon did. Therefore, the free replay doesn’t seem to alter the room permanently.

To make it short: I can confirm that ONLY THE REPLAY HISTORY changes the room PERMANENTLY. 

I never said that the free replay was enough but I never stated the contrary either. I fixed the guides where needed.
